About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with statement of work development and validation
  • Lead client discovery, workshops, and readiness assessments across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint management
  • Develop migration strategies, effort estimates, workload sequencing, migration waves, cutover runbooks, and rollback or recovery plans
  • Evaluate migration tools based on workload coverage, limitations, client constraints, and cost
  • Develop target-state recommendations and architecture diagrams for Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation and separation
  • Lead hands-on migrations of mailboxes, OneDrive accounts, SharePoint sites, and Teams content
  • Configure Microsoft 365 services and coordinate identity transitions, including Microsoft Entra ID and directory synchronization
  • Design and implement Microsoft Intune endpoint solutions, including Autopilot, device policies, application deployment, endpoint security, and Windows update management
  • Execute pilots, migration testing, cutover validation, troubleshooting, post-migration stabilization, and operational handoff
  • Partner with project managers on workstreams, resources, milestones, cutover schedules, communications, service desk readiness, and user adoption
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, scope changes, licensing, access, integrations, retention requirements, and transition deadlines
  • Communicate decisions, progress, risks, and user impacts to technical and executive stakeholders
  • Mentor consultants
  • Develop reusable migration playbooks, automation, packaged solutions, templates, methodologies, and delivery standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Modern Work consulting, Microsoft 365 engineering, or enterprise migrations, including technical leadership of complex client engagements
  • Demonstrated delivery of Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or enterprise consolidation, including discovery, coexistence, workload and identity sequencing, cutover, and post-migration support
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365 administration, identity and access, endpoint management, or collaboration
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, prioritization, delegation, and deadline management
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous engagements in a high-paced environment
  • Hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, design, implementation, and migration across Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows endpoints, including Windows Autopilot, device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application packaging and deployment, endpoint security, update policies, PKI, and Cloud PKI
  • Proficiency with PowerShell and familiarity with Microsoft Graph
  • Hands-on proficiency with Quest and AvePoint as the primary migration toolset
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, directory synchronization, UPN and domain changes, authentication, and Conditional Access
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
