About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead capital markets accounting advisory project management workstreams across deals, restructurings, and transformational business events
- Manage project plans, budgets, milestones, and issue logs for accounting advisory and financial reporting deliverables
- Guide teams through technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction support activities
- Review complex accounting positions, financial statement outputs, and transaction documentation for technical accuracy
- Coordinate client service activities for acquisitions, divestitures, exits, capital raising, and IPO readiness
- Coach staff on project management methods, workflow prioritization, and accounting advisory delivery
- Identify risks, dependencies, and scope changes affecting timelines, deliverables, or transaction outcomes
- Apply project management frameworks and digital tools to organize work, track progress, and support reporting
- Advise on merger accounting, carve-out financial statements, and regulatory reporting
- Communicate status updates, key decisions, and action items across client teams and internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Active CPA License
- Preference for Accounting, Economics, or Finance fields of study
- Experience managing project plans, budgets, and deliverables across client workstreams
- Experience leading capital markets accounting advisory or transaction-focused engagements
- Experience developing teams through coaching, feedback, and mentoring
- Accounting, financial reporting, and deal structuring knowledge
- Experience using technology and automation to streamline project management activities
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
- Must not require, now or in the future, PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth in PwC's policy
