About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage assigned project team members and subcontractors
- Cultivate and grow project owner relationships and relationships with professional groups
- Engage in preconstruction, including bid procedures, bid reviews, vendor and subcontractor qualifications, estimating, procurement strategy, and scheduling
- Manage Quality Assurance/Quality Control programs and commissioning processes
- Lead construction risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budget decisions
- Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules
- Lead construction progress meetings
- Oversee design development
- Travel as needed for projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management
- At least 10+ years of proven experience
- Preferably experience in the Mission Critical industry
- Able and willing to travel for projects
- Proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems
- Thorough understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes
- Experience with critical work Methods of Procedures process
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, P6, and other management tools
- Proactive and effective communication, customer focus, professionalism, honesty, and integrity
- Verification of employment authorization to work in the U.S.
