Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage Sage b7 projects, including solution design, customization, implementation, and subsequent development for clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers during Sage b7 implementations
- Guide customers through requirements gathering, testing, and go-live
- Support existing customers with process-related questions, enhancements, and release upgrades
- Lead workshops and user training sessions remotely and on-site across the DACH region
- Work with developers and partners to develop solutions for requirements not covered by the standard system
- Support b7 customers from initial requirements gathering through ongoing operations
- Help determine how processes are mapped in the system as part of project teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of professional experience as an ERP Consultant or Application Consultant, with a focus on Sage b7
- Experience supporting several b7 projects from requirements gathering through go-live
- Technical understanding of interfaces, SQL, or reporting
- Completed vocational training or university degree in business administration, business information systems, or a comparable qualification
- Strong understanding of business processes in retail or manufacturing, including purchasing, sales, warehousing, planning, and financial accounting
- Enjoyment of direct customer contact and willingness to travel throughout the DACH region
- Structured working style and the ability to bring business departments and IT together
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
