About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outside plant project support for a geographic area
- Prepare analytical records, statistics, and reports relating to Outside Plant functions
- Support Outside Plant Engineering and/or Construction to ensure projects are completed on time, in scope, and on budget
- Manage the invoice process, including Purchase Orders, tracking work performed, and reviewing and processing external vendor invoices
- Work with engineering, construction, and finance personnel to collect and verify data
- Examine outside plant project documentation and ensure data completeness and accuracy
- Maintain data integrity of outside plant-related tools
- Evaluate and recommend changes in methods and procedures
- Provide coaching and mentoring to peers and assist with onboarding
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience
- 4+ years of utility construction experience -AND/OR- engineering experience
- 1+ years of analytical experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and GIS, and ability to learn new tools
- Software knowledge and skills in spreadsheets, database applications, word documents, and similar business and office applications
- SAP Experience/knowledge
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, analytical, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ariba experience/knowledge
- Project Management experience/exposure
- 2+ years of telecommunications experience
