Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and software design patterns
- Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and system observability
- Ability to conduct design reviews and software prototyping
- Skilled in API design and DevOps engineering
- Capacity to mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions
- Data-driven decision-making skills
- Preferred: Master’s degree and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
- Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
- Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
