About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a yearly personal growth plan and maintain spiritual disciplines
- Participate in church and Young Life spiritual community activities
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership
- Recruit and train new leaders and build a leadership team
- Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping
- Raise financial support and maintain donor relationships
- Communicate ministry updates to donor partners
- Assist with camp fundraisers and attend assigned committee and adult functions
- Participate in contact work, Young Life club, Campaigners/discipleship ministry, and camping strategy
- Potentially serve on summer or assigned staff at a Young Life property

- Set and review yearly ministry and personal goals
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports
- Attend required regional and area training
- Receive individualized training in spiritual maturity, character, and ministry skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a college degree
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must profess belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord
- Must subscribe to Young Life's Statement of Faith and required staff policies
- Must be willing and able to fulfill required ministry functions
- Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from Young Life's biblical standards
- Must abide by Young Life policies and practices
