About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate catering operations for Air Culinaire Worldwide consistently with company policies and procedures
- Deliver bespoke guest service while protecting confidential client information
- Contribute to all functions and operations of the Guest Services Team
- Log into assigned phone queues and oversee email self-assignment and workload distribution
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and promptly, with complete notes and proper e-filing/coding
- Use company software to identify approved preferred suppliers
- Research custom-item pricing using approved websites
- Communicate with supply-chain partners about order clarity
- Execute quotes, apply approved promotional codes/discounts, and upsell menu items
- Log process events and resolve them according to the credit matrix or management guidance
- Perform quality control on orders before submission and ensure order confirmation and closure
- Act as the point person for Guest Services Agents’ questions and identify training needs
- Communicate outstanding issues to management at shift close
- Handle escalated issues with customers, kitchens, or vendors
- Participate in cross-training, huddle meetings, departmental meetings, and requested stakeholder meetings
- Work with Operations, Network, IT, Finance, and Marketing & Sales to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Engage Guest Services management as needed and perform additional assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Field preferred
- Experienced in handling client relationships in a business environment
- Prior experience with catering/culinary operations or hospitality required, including basic knowledge of culinary terms and practices
- Prior experience in aviation fields a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Basic Computer Navigation, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, record keeping, and correspondence formatting/etiquette
- Ability to establish daily priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives, and resolve issues
- Schedule flexibility, including evening, weekend, or holiday hours as necessary
