About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsibility for the company’s entire vehicle fleet
- Management of leasing, insurance and maintenance contracts
- Organisation of vehicle orders, vehicle returns and driver changes
- Management and further development of the company car policy
- Point of contact for employees and managers on vehicle-related matters
- Analysis and optimisation of fleet costs
- Procurement of indirect materials and services
- Requesting and comparing quotations
- Negotiating with suppliers and service providers
- Creating and tracking purchase orders
- Supporting tenders and contract negotiations
- Monitoring budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Ensuring smooth building operations at the Lippstadt and Wennigsen sites
- Managing external service providers
- Planning and coordinating maintenance and repair measures
- Managing maintenance and service contracts
- Supporting relocation, renovation and expansion projects
- Point of contact for employees’ site-related concerns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial or technical vocational training, ideally supplemented by relevant further qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in fleet management, procurement, facilities management or a comparable role
- Experience managing service providers and suppliers
- Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to work
- Confident negotiation skills and a strong awareness of costs
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Good German and English language skills
- Willingness to make regular visits to the Lippstadt and Wennigsen sites
