About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and manage strategic initiatives supporting and enhancing product or platform experiences
- Oversee client and business interactions, strategic planning, product development and technology initiatives
- Lead resiliency, capacity/scalability, security and quality assurance testing for ISG investment platforms
- Measure, monitor and report platform resiliency across ISG platforms and applications
- Coordinate outage communications and conduct root cause analysis
- Develop remediation and infrastructure optimization plans with Technology and line-of-business partners
- Establish and manage usage, volume and capacity monitoring frameworks
- Ensure applications meet regulatory and internal compliance standards
- Partner with Technology/GIS on audits, vulnerability assessments and data privacy protocols
- Define, plan and manage user acceptance testing for ISG technology releases
- Provide release status transparency and lead release events
- Make production-readiness, defect-deferral and resource-prioritization decisions
- Provide final business signoff for UAT and production releases
- Lead special projects as needed
- Provide strategic guidance on advisor tools, products, platforms and investment materials
- Collaborate with leadership to educate advisors and improve product adoption and engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally in Wealth Management
- Substantial experience in a senior platform or product development position, with increasing level of responsibility
- Strong knowledge of wealth management platforms and products
- Excellent written and verbal communication and exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to work with business, control, technology, operations, senior executive, front-office and leadership partners
- Strong people skills to influence, lead and collaborate across multiple business partners
- Ability to identify creative solutions while balancing business priorities and risks
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in artificial intelligence and ability to integrate it into business processes
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while achieving individual goals
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field desired
- MBA is a plus
