About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the full-cycle general ledger month-end close process across multiple domestic and international entities
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable statutory accounting requirements
- Review fixed assets, prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and related journal entries
- Review capitalized internal-use software projects and calculate amortization
- Prepare, review, and reconcile balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules
- Investigate reconciling items and resolve discrepancies through detailed analysis
- Perform monthly financial variance analysis and communicate key drivers to Accounting and Finance leadership
- Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly financial reporting support
- Support lease accounting, accruals, payroll-related accounting, intercompany activity, foreign currency transactions, and complex close entries
- Prepare and review cash reconciliations and support weekly cash reporting
- Support international statutory audits and tax filings
- Document, maintain, and enhance accounting procedures and controls
- Partner with Payroll, FP&A, and other Finance teams
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Support localized accounting policies for new markets and regions
- Participate in accounting systems initiatives, integrations, and cross-functional projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Auditing
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Capable AI proficiency, independently leveraging AI tools to improve decision-making, workflows, and work outputs with sound judgment
- Global accounting experience preferred
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience working in Netsuite preferred
