About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the main client contact, engaging with C-level and senior stakeholders
- Track fraud trends and funnels; refine rules and models to balance loss, approvals, and customer experience
- Assess strategy performance, including detection rate, false positives, manual review, and referral, and recommend improvements
- Monitor emerging typologies such as ATO, first-party fraud, synthetic ID, mule, and merchant fraud, and adjust controls proactively
- Own test-and-learn initiatives: design champion–challenger tests, measure lift, and codify winners
- Oversee decisioning implementation on fraud platforms, ensuring audit controls and documentation
- Align with Operations on case workflows, dispute/chargeback processes, and agent playbooks
- Lead and plan analytical projects with offshore teams for smooth execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of experience in Marketing Data Science, consulting, solution design, and client management
- Unsecured lending experience with Banks / FinTechs
- Experience with fraud platforms such as Actimize, FICO, or SAS
- Experience with feature engineering from digital, device, and behavioral data
- Hands-on experience with rules design, model usage, segmentation, and A/B testing
- Understanding of KYC/IDV, dispute/chargeback flows, and control/audit needs
- Demonstrable leadership ability, superior problem-solving, and people-management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and story-building skills in a consulting setup
- Bachelor's Degree
