Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary resource for lease, contract, and other transaction-related legal documentation supporting the team
- Configure, update, and test document tags used in lease and loan documentation
- Validate tag logic and associated data mappings
- Assist in implementing new document requirements and template enhancements
- Create, review, organize, and maintain documentation according to legal, compliance, and operational requirements
- Monitor documentation requirements and ensure records are complete, accessible, and audit-ready
- Perform quality checks and support remediation for missing, incomplete, incorrectly categorized, or misstored documentation
- Support document retention and records management
- Handle ad hoc projects related to documentation, systems, compliance, process improvement, or team operations
- Coordinate project activities, gather requirements, track action items, and support deliverables through completion
- Identify opportunities to improve operations processes end to end
- Drive consistency, accessibility, and efficiency
- Create or update job aids, templates, trackers, process maps, and standard work instructions
- Balance recurring documentation responsibilities with changing priorities and time-sensitive requests
- Provide Odessa system support and assist with operational improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 4 years of experience in leasing and loan operations or documentation OR Master's degree OR MBA with 2+ years of experience
- Experience with LeaseWave, Odessa, or similar lease and loan management platforms preferred
- Relevant certifications (CFA, CPA, or CTP) preferred
- Experience partnering with Legal teams on contract documentation, template management, or records processes
- Knowledge of DocuSign templates and tagging concepts
- Experience with metadata management and document repositories
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, data mapping, or system integrations
- Knowledge of records retention, document governance, compliance, and audit-readiness practices
- Experience supporting system implementations, data clean-up, documentation migrations, process improvements, or other operational projects
- Ability to work independently, learn new processes quickly, and flex across a broad range of team needs
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to successfully complete a drug screen, as applicable
