Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee accessibility compliance across VA server environments
- Ensure system interfaces, documentation, and administrative workflows meet Section 508, WCAG 2.0 AA, and federal ICT requirements
- Lead governance and validation activities for server tools, dashboards, configuration documentation, and operational procedures
- Work with engineers, hosting teams, developers, security teams, and VA stakeholders
- Manage accessibility testing cycles, documentation conformity, compliance dashboards, and recurring reporting
- Refine workflows and documentation structure and streamline accessibility checks
- Embed ICT requirements into daily hosting and server lifecycle operations
- Coordinate across service lines to keep server operations aligned, efficient, and compliant
- Partner with VA leadership and accessibility program offices on compliance reviews, reports, and recommendations
- Identify accessibility gaps, update SOPs, enhance controls, support automation, modernize documentation, and strengthen enterprise accessibility practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of experience
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience leading server operations, infrastructure processes, or compliance activities in enterprise IT environments
- Expertise in accessibility compliance, Section 508, WCAG 2.0 AA, or federal ICT standards
- Strong understanding of ITSM, service delivery, hosting operations, and enterprise-class process governance
- Ability to evaluate server documentation, interfaces, workflows, and system outputs for accessibility, completeness, and accuracy
- Experience developing compliance plans, audit artifacts, dashboards, and corrective-action processes
- Excellent written, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across platform engineering, operations, and federal organizations
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- US citizenship required
