About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the successful management and delivery of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) projects
- Provide technical inputs across multiple projects
- Project manage smaller projects
- Contribute to business development activities and bid writing
- Share learning through knowledge products and external conferences and events where possible
- Help maintain Itad’s excellent reputation with clients
- Build and contribute to high-performing project teams
- Deliver quality outputs while meeting commercial targets
- Generate robust evidence and use it to support clients and shape global debates
- Support clients in reflecting, learning and managing change
- Build long-term relationships with clients and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience providing technical inputs into evaluation and/or monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) projects
- Demonstrable project management experience, essential for the role
- Experience managing projects and delivering high-quality work to agreed timelines and budgets
- Strong commercial project management skills
- Relevant thematic expertise in one or more of the stated areas: security and justice; serious and organised crime; violence against women and girls (VAWG); preventing violent extremism; migration; or humanitarian assistance
- Experience applying a range of evaluation and MEL tools and techniques in a structured and systematic way
- Ability to produce robust, evidence-based findings
- Skilled in building trust-based relationships with clients
- Experience contributing to business development, including developing high-quality, winning proposals
- Experience working in the foundations/philanthropic sector and/or UK domestic market desirable
- Candidates must already hold the right to live and work in the UK independently
