Key responsibilities & impact- Manage tickets submitted by Pharmacovigilance teams
- Clarify and challenge requirements (User Stories) through direct discussions with users
- Design and execute complex SQL queries on the Argus Safety database
- Automate data preparation workflows and customize raw data using Alteryx
- Produce clean, immediately usable datasets
- Contribute to the monitoring and production of Pharmacovigilance regulatory deliverables, including periodic reports and Case Management
- Populate, maintain, and enhance a portfolio of dashboards in Tableau Software
- Support clients in the continuous optimization of their health and safety data processing
- Collaborate with clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Scientific or healthcare education (e.g., Toxicology, Pharmacy) combined with a transition into or experience in IT/Data, or a Master’s degree/engineering degree in Business Intelligence
- 5 to 10 years of overall experience, including proven experience in a Pharmacovigilance environment
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in Alteryx
- Practical knowledge of the Argus Safety database and OAS
- Practical knowledge of Tableau
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
- Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance regulations and processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and constructively challenge requirements
- Analytical mindset and ability to make recommendations
- Fluent English required
