Key responsibilities & impact- Own product discovery by interviewing practice owners, office managers, and controllers to understand payroll, hiring, and staffing workflows
- Translate customer insights into product requirements, PRDs, tickets, and MVP scopes
- Prioritize the backlog in partnership with engineering and design
- Build and launch payroll features integrating with cards, BillPay, and accounting products
- Evaluate, integrate, and manage third-party partners across payroll, background checks, job boards, and credentialing
- Develop recruiting and workforce management workflows for clinical and front-desk roles
- Partner with compliance and cross-functional teams on payroll tax, wage-and-hour, and employment requirements across states
- Define and track product success metrics, including activation, payroll adoption, time-to-hire, and shifts filled
- Partner with sales and customer success on product launches, demos, and customer-facing materials
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in product management, associate product management, product operations, or a related role with exposure to product development
- Experience working on or shipping B2B software or fintech products and features
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous customer feedback into clear, actionable product requirements
- Comfort working with data, including experience with SQL or BI tools, and a habit of using metrics to guide decisions
- Curiosity about how businesses operate, particularly how money and people move through an organization
- An ownership mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
