About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage operational and strategic procurement
- Ensure products are available on time and at competitive terms
- Structure procurement processes and continuously improve them
- Make optimal use of JTL for procurement planning and inventory control
- Monitor delivery dates, inventory levels, and stock coverage, identifying potential shortages at an early stage
- Contact and follow up with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with agreements
- Review supplier invoices and resolve and correct discrepancies
- Ensure reliable communication with internal teams in the event of delivery delays
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Inventory Management, and senior management
- Analyze key performance indicators, identify opportunities for improvement, and further develop procurement strategically
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in procurement, ideally in e-commerce or retail
- Extensive hands-on experience with JTL and its use in procurement and inventory processes
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain effective under pressure
- Friendly yet assertive manner and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
- Affinity for numbers, meticulous working style, and ability to identify errors at an early stage
- Forward-thinking mindset and solution-oriented approach
- Open, transparent, and solution-oriented communication
- Independent, structured, and pragmatic working style
- Willingness to challenge existing processes and improve them sustainably
- Residence in Germany
