Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the product strategy for Omie’s Credit Platform, aligning customer needs with business objectives.
- Support the development of products such as receivables financing, invoice discounting, digital formalization, collateral management, collections, and credit recovery.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Operations, Sales, and financial partners.
- Map and improve the credit journey, from origination through settlement.
- Develop solutions using data from the ERP and the Omie ecosystem.
- Support market research and competitive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and new business models for SMBs.
- Manage the backlog by defining functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Track and improve metrics such as conversion, originated volume, utilization, delinquency, time to contract, recovery, and satisfaction.
- Work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices.
- Explore opportunities in Open Finance, Artificial Intelligence, book-entry invoices, dynamic payment slips, receivables registries, and collateral mechanisms.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience as a Product Manager or in an equivalent role, preferably with digital credit products, receivables, embedded finance, or fintechs.
- Knowledge of the full credit lifecycle, including origination, assessment, formalization, collateral, collections, and recovery.
- Experience with receivables financing, invoice discounting, registries, book-entry invoices, FIDCs, or credit platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of product management, agile methodologies, and data-driven development.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, Design, Risk, Sales, and external partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into insights and guide data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment applicable to the credit market, Open Finance, registries, book-entry invoices, and other industry trends is a plus.
