Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the product strategy for Omie’s Credit Platform, aligning customer needs with business objectives.
- Lead the evolution of products such as receivables financing, invoice discounting, digital formalization, collateral management, collections, and credit recovery.
- Build platform capabilities that support multiple credit products and financial partners.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Operations, Sales, and financial partner teams.
- Map and improve the credit journey, from origination through settlement.
- Develop solutions using data from the ERP and the Omie ecosystem.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis in the SME credit market.
- Prioritize and manage the backlog, defining functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Define, monitor, and evolve product performance metrics.
- Work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Explore opportunities in Open Finance, Artificial Intelligence, electronic invoices, dynamic payment slips, receivables registries, and collateral mechanisms.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience as a Product Manager or in an equivalent role, preferably with digital credit, receivables, embedded finance, or fintech products.
- Knowledge of the full credit lifecycle, including origination, analysis, formalization, collateral, collections, and recovery.
- Experience with products such as receivables financing, invoice discounting, registries, electronic invoices, FIDCs, or credit platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of product management, Agile methodologies, and data-driven development.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, Design, Risk, Sales, and external partner teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into insights and guide data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment applicable to the credit market, Open Finance, registries, electronic invoices, and other industry trends is a plus.
