Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a field team
- Participate in and lead trainings for career development
- Maintain site safety and required site certifications
- Manage day-to-day field compliance for the LDAR and safety programs
- Promote a positive work/team environment
- Lead weekly safety toolbox talks
- Manage and maintain required PPE, supplies, and equipment
- Assist field personnel with requirements
- Manage, perform, and review monitoring-instrument calibrations, calibration-precision tests, response-time tests, and drift checks
- Prepare required field reports
- Perform standby and on-call duty as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Oil and Gas industry; preference given to candidates with natural gas processing/transmission facility experience
- Intermediate knowledge in LDAR-related hardware and tools
- Effective computer skills; Excel and Microsoft Office are essential
- Proficiency with Android OS
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, days only
- Valid driver's license
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology or applicable technical degree/diploma preferred
- Related work experience in hydrocarbon detection and measurement, LDAR, instrumentation or stack emission testing, or a mechanical background preferred
- Experience leading a team
- Ability to walk and/or stand while handling/carrying technical equipment for extended periods
- Comfortable occasionally working at heights safely
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
- Comfortable working outside in all-weather elements
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to pass a fit test for a respirator
- Ability to respond to the facility within one hour when standby/on-call duty is required
