Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the full life cycle of successful customer projects, from sales through customer support/customer success
- Lead new implementations, updates, change requests and other customer projects
- Develop project plans and timelines, identify tasks, and coordinate completion of deliverables and outcomes
- Coordinate timelines and deliverable milestones with technical teams and customers
- Maintain project schedules and communicate milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues to leadership, project leads and clients
- Plan and coordinate projects using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Notion and Jira
- Identify project, deliverable and software release conflicts across projects and clients
- Support leadership in revising project schedules and communicating changes to clients
- Improve project management processes and the deployment pipeline
- Measure project performance using project management best practices and techniques
- Collaborate closely with clients to ensure project success and customer satisfaction
- Motivate team members to meet project goals and milestones
- Identify project opportunities and provide custom solutions to meet client needs
- Support senior management with strategic planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Project management experience in a SaaS company, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget
- Experience working in wildland fire, forestry, electric utilities or a related discipline
- Experience with project management software such as Smartsheets, Notion and Jira (or equivalent)
- Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite and Google Apps
- Problem-solving ability with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated success working remotely and completing multiple complex projects simultaneously on time and within budget
- Strong organization, self-motivation, creativity, resourcefulness and accountability
- Strong leadership, management and collaboration qualities
- Experience managing or utilizing the Agile development process (preferred)
- Formal project management training (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science and/or natural science (preferred)
- Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset
