Key responsibilities & impact- Build, maintain and enhance dashboards in Sigma
- Design and maintain ETL processes for client data
- Optimise back-end data structures to ensure reliable and performant dashboards
- Use Snowflake SQL, Python and dbt workflows for data transformation and modelling
- Manage analytics code and data transformation projects using Git and GitHub
- Follow branching, pull request, code review and documentation practices
- Use Jira to manage work and record time accurately
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and clarify technical requirements
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions and recommend effective approaches
- Mentor junior team members with technical guidance, feedback and problem-solving support
- Develop expertise in the company’s industry, technology, products and data offerings
- Research and help develop new product and analytical offerings
- Support AI- and machine-learning-based solutions
- Ensure data, code and AI-generated outputs are accurate, robust and production-ready
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years’ experience in an analytics role
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with a modern cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake or GBQ
- Experience using a data transformation and modelling tool such as dbt
- Ability to review code and identify logic or data-quality issues before production
- Sufficient SQL and Python expertise to read, debug and extend existing scripts
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and analytical solutions in BI platforms such as Sigma, Looker, Power BI or similar
- Practical day-to-day experience using AI-assisted coding and analysis tools such as Claude Code, Cortex or Coco
- Ability to write clear specifications for AI agents and critically review their outputs
- Ability to translate client requirements into clear product scopes
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts confidently to non-technical audiences
- Experience applying advanced analytics or data science techniques such as predictive modelling, regression analysis or natural language processing (advantage)
- Experience using work-management or product-development software, with Jira preferred (advantage)
- Experience in direct-to-consumer analytics (advantage)
- Experience working with Git and GitHub (advantage)
