About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead capital markets accounting advisory workstreams across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising, and other transformational events
- Advise clients on technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction structure considerations for public and private deals
- Manage project planning, budgeting, timelines, and deliverables for multiple client engagements
- Guide teams in preparing accounting analyses, financial statements, and reporting deliverables under GAAP and IFRS
- Review accounting positions, modeling outputs, and transaction documents for alignment with applicable guidance
- Coach team members on complex accounting issues, client service delivery, and methodologies and tools
- Identify accounting, reporting, and operational issues affecting deal execution and transaction readiness
- Build trusted client relationships and communicate recommendations on capital market and accounting matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Active CPA License
- Preference for study in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- Capital markets accounting advisory or transaction support experience
- Technical accounting knowledge during deals and reporting change
- Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across client workstreams
- Experience coaching junior team members and reviewing work for accuracy
- Experience navigating capital raising, IPO, or carve-out readiness activities
- Ability to communicate accounting issues clearly to clients and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
- Must not require, now or in the future, PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as permitted by PwC policy
