About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Run day-to-day business operations so the founder can focus on vision, partnerships, and content
- Manage the team and freelancers, including priorities, deadlines, weekly check-ins, and accountability
- Build and own systems and workflows
- Track projects, budgets, and KPIs, and report weekly progress to the founder
- Own the member journey, including applications, onboarding, personal welcomes, and retention
- Plan and run in-person events, VIP dinners, and online Power Hours in Los Angeles
- Support the New York chapter
- Maintain community engagement on Skool, WhatsApp, and other channels
- Identify members for spotlight opportunities
- Manage sponsor and partner relationships
- Collaborate on the content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and the newsletter
- Improve AI tools, agents, and automations for content, CRM, email, and member operations
- Monitor new AI tools and recommend applications
- Develop ideas for events, offers, partnerships, and revenue opportunities
- Act as the founder's thought partner on strategy and execute decisions quickly
- Represent the Club and founder at events and meetings as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years in operations, community, or social media roles
- At least 2 years managing people or projects
- Daily hands-on use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and automation platforms
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, content calendars, and content performance
- Experience building and running a community, membership, or events program
- Highly organized, a clear communicator, and calm when juggling many moving parts
- Self-starter who brings ideas, not just tasks, and follows through
- Entrepreneurial experience; startup, agency, or small business experience is a big plus
- Lives in Los Angeles and can be in person for events, meetings, and team days
