About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, grow and develop revenue opportunities within a defined territory
- Contribute to annual team goals and deliver quarterly objectives
- Plan and execute territory strategy using product and market knowledge
- Facilitate customer communication by aligning needs with appropriate STEMCELL products
- Support product demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars
- Conduct sales activities including technical support inquiries, quote requests, site visits, and order follow-up
- Assist with technical support and troubleshooting
- Maintain sales data integrity within a CRM database
- Cultivate and expand customer relationships across the Chicago and Denver markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSc in Immunology or related science with 1-3 years of technical experience
- MSc or Doctorate degree in Immunology or related science; previous sales experience is an asset, but not required
- Hands-on experience in cellular immunology techniques including primary cell isolation, in vitro immunological assays, multi-color flow cytometry and in vivo animal models is preferred
- Experience with STEMCELL’s primary product lines, related technologies, or relevant customer markets is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Preference given to candidates based in the Chicago area
- Ability to travel to the Chicago and Denver areas
