Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Finance Director in day-to-day operations and provide cover as needed
- Drive the ongoing development of the local Finance function
- Own forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis
- Ensure timely and reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Serve as a key interface with the wider Group
- Monitor accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Analyze project profitability, cash flow, working capital, and liquidity metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance
- Support business cases, financial viability analyses, and financial models
- Prepare actionable recommendations to support decision-making
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to manage and optimize business performance
- Continuously improve finance processes, systems, and reporting tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable discipline
- Several years of professional experience in Finance, Controlling, or Financial Management, ideally in an international environment or an audit firm
- Strong knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting, controlling, and accounting
- Experience in project-based, industrial, technology-driven, or energy-related companies is an advantage
- Good knowledge of project controlling, revenue recognition, and profitability and margin management
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial insights into well-founded recommendations for action
- Proficiency in using ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with BI and reporting tools is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently advise a range of stakeholders
- Structured, detail-oriented, and self-motivated working style with a strong results focus
- Very good written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
