About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Customers and Value Tribe, creating digital experiences that simplify complex challenges in the day-to-day work of legal professionals
- Lead end-to-end design, from discovery through handoff, providing technical leadership in day-to-day decisions
- Design lawyer-centered flows and interfaces to increase perceived value, reduce friction, and create conversion and revenue opportunities
- Build low- and high-fidelity prototypes, leading cycles of hypothesis, testing, learning, and iteration
- Use AI, especially Claude Design, to explore alternatives, generate layout and copy variations, analyze benchmarks, and organize learnings
- Design AI-powered experiences integrated into Astrea while preserving user autonomy and control
- Apply behavioral psychology principles ethically and transparently
- Define and track success metrics, such as activation and conversion, ensuring proper instrumentation and analysis of results
- Conduct usability tests and quantitative and qualitative validation
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing, delivering robust handoffs
- Document decisions, tested variations, and learnings, contributing to the knowledge repository and the evolution of the Design System
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field
- Strong experience as a Product Designer working on complex digital products
- Practical proficiency with AI tools applied to design
- Hands-on experience with Claude Design required
- Strong background in UX/UI, information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping
- Experience conducting research and validation with users
- Strategic product mindset, connecting user experience, business objectives, and metrics
- Clear communication skills to present ideas, advocate for decisions, and collaborate with different teams
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with Jira, Notion, Lovable, and Replit
- Preferred: experience designing AI-powered products or features
- Preferred: experience with B2B or SaaS products
- Preferred: knowledge of the legal market or the workflows of independent professionals
