About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI content generation
- Translate learner and reviewer needs, expert feedback, and business priorities into product opportunities, hypotheses, and initiatives
- Lead creation, improvement, and scaling of AI generation workflows, including prompting, evaluation, and quality loops
- Define standards for generated content quality and evaluation with language experts and reviewers
- Balance automation and quality by evolving human-in-the-loop processes
- Define success metrics and evaluate performance using quantitative data, qualitative research, competitive insights, learner insights, and reviewer feedback
- Prioritise and manage trade-offs among learner value, business impact, technical feasibility, and speed
- Partner with Engineering, Learning Content, Design, Data, and Product teams from discovery through launch and iteration
- Communicate direction, evidence, decisions, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Take on evolving company priorities, including platform expansion or subscriber migration, and execute them rigorously
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years as a Product Manager building complex digital products
- Hands-on experience building and shipping at least one generative AI product where GenAI is core functionality
- Ability to follow and challenge technical discussions on prompts, models, evaluation, and pipelines; coding is not required
- Experience working closely with engineers, experts, and data teams
- Strong product judgment and high quality standards
- Focus on user outcomes and comfort with ambiguous, fast-evolving problem spaces
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-alignment skills, including partnership with engineering leadership
- Proactive, flexible, and curious, with ability to drive progress from insight to execution
- AI-first working approach with demonstrated use of AI agents in PM practice
- Nice to have: track record of shipping at scale to hundreds of thousands of active users or more
- Nice to have: exposure to learning products, localisation, or content and knowledge systems
