About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead multiple major operations segments for a site, region, or product line within the bank's internal operations
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve process performance and operating efficiency
- Coordinate activities and processes across operations segments
- Support overarching strategy for DROM new capabilities and process optimization
- Articulate digitization across Global Operations and the business value of simple, consistent, shared horizontal components
- Challenge SMEs on alternate solutions and approaches for building solutions
- Manage Tech/Ops Steering Committee workgroups to align efforts and strategy and influence change
- Manage product and capability pitch books
- Deliver executive presentations and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Collaborate with Technology, Operations, and stakeholders to identify opportunities and influence change
- Remove roadblocks and manage aggressive deadlines, changing deadlines, multiple responsibilities, and competing priorities
- Oversee forecasting, staffing levels, and capacities
- Coach teams and provide constructive feedback to drive Operational Excellence
- Ensure adherence to bank and regulatory policies and procedures
- Provide strategic guidance for procedures and unit or product-related activities
- Oversee budget and expense management, reporting, and forecasting
- Evaluate efficiencies and identify process improvement and growth areas
