About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Gated Communities
- Define ButterflyMX's gated-native platform vision and invest in capabilities to realize it
- Partner with and influence other product teams to prioritize gated community needs
- Build relationships with homebuilders and developers to gather firsthand market signals
- Embed AI into the product where it creates genuine value
- Define and track segment health and growth metrics to inform prioritization
- Collaborate with customer experience and implementation teams to improve onboarding, training, and day-one readiness
- Work with engineering to prototype and deliver product ideas
- Report to the Director of Product Management for Access and Security
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in product management
- Track record of owning products from concept to market with measurable business impact
- Strong product taste with hands-on design fluency
- Ability to take rough ideas to testable prototypes spanning digital screens and physical moments
- Comfortable with ambiguity and defining paths forward
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Experience delivering projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Sharp written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence engineering, design, go-to-market, and leadership without authority
- Builder's mindset and ability to use AI and modern tooling to explore ideas quickly
- Nice to have: experience in proptech, multifamily real estate, or property operations
- Nice to have: experience with B2B2C products where the buyer and daily user differ
- Nice to have: experience with hardware and software systems working together
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
