About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute AI product roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives
- Provide roadmap input alongside the Portfolio Manager
- Collaborate with business, engineering, research, data science, IT, and design teams
- Develop robust AI solutions, maintaining technical rigor and introducing methods to verify success and identify risks
- Understand and address user needs in AI applications
- Coordinate AI applications across GE Vernova businesses to drive operational improvements and innovation
- Define and monitor metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and the impact of AI initiatives
- Monitor products post-launch, gather user feedback, and iterate on features
- Oversee integration of AI products from third-party software suppliers and determine technology fit
- Translate complex technical challenges into strategic opportunities
- Facilitate cross-business coordination and support AI-driven improvements across Vernova
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience building and deploying AI applications
- Business acumen to integrate business strategy with technical initiatives
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders and occasionally C-Suite executives
- Analytical problem-solving skills to identify and solve risks and challenges
- Technical proficiency and a data-driven mindset
- Willingness to work out of an office in Niskayuna, NY or Cambridge, MA
- For Cambridge-based resources, willingness to complete a required three-month hybrid onboarding residency in Niskayuna, NY
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
- Experience with GE/GE Vernova highly preferred
