Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the end-to-end delivery framework for debit operations network releases
- Collaborate with technical teams to define network and gateway release schedules and internal milestones
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure timely submission of change requests and governance compliance
- Oversee revision of Operating Rules and technical documentation
- Provide communication and guidance to network participants throughout the release lifecycle
- Partner with the NetDocs team to distribute network release documentation and communications
- Guide relationship and implementation managers during sessions with issuers, acquirers, and processors
- Partner with Product, Technology, and Test organizations to prepare infrastructure and testing environments
- Oversee the Gateway test case workbook release lifecycle
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for network releases within Operations
- Manage information flow between internal product teams and client account managers
- Plan and monitor milestones with internal technology and product partners
- Provide reporting to network leadership on release adoption and network health
- Identify systemic trends in release failures and improve related processes
- Travel as required to understand core operational processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
- Preferred: Master’s or MBA degree
- Preferred: At least 7 years of Project Management experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and influencing skills
- At least 1 year of experience with Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- At least 1 year of experience with Google applications such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Draw.io
- Must comply with Capital One’s hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence at the designated office location
