About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and business of Circle National Trust
- Represent Circle National Trust within Circle Group and externally
- Report key business matters to Circle executive leadership and the Trust Board of Directors
- Develop and own the business plan to maximize opportunities and ensure efficient, profitable operations
- Execute business plans and strategies and liaise with senior executives
- Ensure proper operating resources
- Maintain systems and procedures for compliance and corporate governance
- Ensure compliance with requirements related to custody and fiduciary activities
- Build a strong compliance and governance culture and ensure timely risk escalation and mitigation
- Develop a centralized process for engaging with regulators and tracking communications, actions, and outcomes
- Support audits and examinations and ensure findings are remediated
- Ensure accounting, tax, treasury, HR, and operational matters are appropriately managed and resourced
- Identify gaps and implementation opportunities and build a long-term foundation for Circle National Trust
- Encourage critical discussions and challenge mindsets
- Promote effective communication between executive and non-executive employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years relevant experience in general management, finance, operations, or related discipline
- 10+ years of leading high performing teams
- Detailed knowledge and experience implementing and managing a regulated business and ongoing operations in a financial services business
- OCC-specific experience is a plus
- Excellent ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret data and local and federal regulations
- Experience in a RegTech or Fintech company
- Understanding of and passion for digital currency and blockchain technology
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, AI, and automation
- Experience working hands-on with engineers, product managers, data analysts, and other cross-functional leaders
- Strong communication, planning, and project management skills
