About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead data center construction projects from planning through completion
- Develop schedules, track milestones, and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project teams
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, procurement, contracts, and change orders
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations
- Review construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance
- Oversee project documentation and progress tracking using Procore, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6
- Coordinate integration of access control and CCTV systems
- Manage testing, start-up, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS)
- Complete final project turnover while meeting budget, schedule, safety, quality, and delivery expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience successfully managing and delivering data center construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- Experience leading complex construction projects involving multiple contractors and technical teams
- Strong understanding of critical facility infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and operational requirements
- Experience coordinating security infrastructure, including access control and CCTV installations
- Ability to interpret technical plans, engineering documents, and construction specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety, quality, and project delivery standards
- If hired, completion of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification at the start of employment
