About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the facility's training curriculum for all employees
  • Prepare and execute training sessions using established materials and timelines
  • Monitor on-the-job training by demonstrating proper methods and guiding Warehouse Associate Trainers, Team Leads, Supervisors, and Managers
  • Provide training, follow-up coaching, and feedback based on individual needs and development opportunities
  • Work with the Training Manager, Director, and Human Resources to identify training gaps
  • Respond promptly to requests and questions about training initiatives
  • Conduct or assist with Warehouse Associate and Temporary Associate orientation sessions
  • Document and track associate training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work mandatory or voluntary overtime as dictated by business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • English reading, writing, and verbal skills
  • Intermediate-level mathematical skills
  • Working knowledge of field operations and/or training principles
  • Software skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Verbal and written communication skills to instruct employees on processes and practices
  • Presentation skills to facilitate training and informational sessions
  • Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple processes and deadlines
  • Ability to anticipate and identify problems and develop effective solutions using sound judgment and fact-based analysis
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees
  • Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months
  • Ability to bend, walk, stand, sit, lift/carry and push/pull 11–20 pounds, and reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred
  • Previous logistics, distribution, or relevant-environment experience preferred
  • Current or prior WMS experience preferred
  • Current or prior RF Scanner experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
