Key responsibilities & impact- Lead exploration and execution of new product opportunities across the CVP gear hub portfolio and CVP motor integration cooperations
- Shape enviolo's product roadmap and serve as the entry point for technical collaboration and integration with OEM customers and e-bike component makers
- Own Phase 0 of the product development process by defining customer and product requirements, product scopes, and business cases
- Participate as a primary stakeholder in phase gate reviews throughout development phases 1–4
- Collaborate with Program Management, Test & Validation, and Engineering to safeguard product requirements
- Develop industry trend, competitive product, complementary product, and personal e-mobility analyses
- Guide long-term product and partnership strategy
- Lead internal communications for new mechanical product launches
- Provide technical sales support to the commercial team
- Develop a multi-year product roadmap and maintain the 5-year product strategy and Product & Technology roadmap
- Create and publish technical customer-facing documentation for product specification, assembly, and service
- Act as first point of contact for drivetrain integration partners
- Develop and maintain e-bike drivetrain compatibility documentation
- Analyze competitive and complementary product landscapes
- Support Business Development on complex technical issues and new product projects
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on customer-facing quality concerns
- Lead product communications and handover when new physical products are introduced
- Collaborate with and empower cross-functional project members without formal management authority
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years' experience in key product-related roles in high-growth, disruptive companies, preferably in cycling or urban mobility
- Proven experience developing complex mechanical products
- Deep understanding of bicycle transmission systems
- Proven experience using a data-driven approach to decision making
- Experience working with physical mechanical components
- Sufficient hands-on skills to work on e-bikes in a workshop environment
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
- Robust stakeholder management skills
- User-first mentality and strong attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving ability and ability to mobilize and motivate resources
- Clear communication and excellent oral and written presentation skills
- Based in or willing to work from Amsterdam, Netherlands
- Willingness to travel to customers, suppliers, and industry events
- Fluent in English
- Dutch and/or German skills are a plus
