About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate the implementation of the Management System (MOG) at airport bases, training operational leaders in management routines, problem analysis, and the deployment of actions aligned with strategic objectives
- Conduct structured operational performance diagnostics through indicator analysis, field observation (Gemba), interviews, and process mapping
- Identify opportunities related to operational efficiency, customer experience, costs, and Lean maturity
- Facilitate structured problem-solving using A3, PDCA, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean tools
- Train and develop operational leaders and teams in Lean practices, tools, and behaviors
- Support the prioritization of improvement initiatives through structured analysis and decision-making methodologies
- Monitor the progress of initiatives, assessing methodological adherence, results realization, and performance indicators
- Serve as a methodological reference for airport bases in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and Lean management
- Promote standardization and the sharing of best practices across operations
- Ensure the evolution and standardization of the Management System through the rollout of improvements, manual updates, and training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Aeronautical Sciences, Quality Management, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
- Solid knowledge of Lean Management, Daily Management System (DMS), Gemba Walks, A3 Thinking, Kaizen, Standardized Work, Visual Management, and daily operational management
- Proficiency in SIPOC, flowcharts, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), waste identification and elimination, and process standardization
- Knowledge of the 5 Whys, Ishikawa Diagram, Pareto Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and the PDCA cycle
- Ability to analyze operational indicators, identify deviations, interpret trends, set targets, and monitor action plans
- Knowledge of project prioritization, planning, execution, and monitoring
- Ability to train, engage, and develop operational leaders and teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to structure, review, and disseminate operational standards, procedures, manuals, and practices
- Analytical skills and a systems perspective
- Intermediate English, with the ability to read and interpret technical materials, participate in meetings, and communicate professionally
- Preferred: experience with Management Systems in distributed operations or highly complex environments
- Preferred: experience in airport operations, aviation, logistics, transportation, or large-scale operational environments
- Preferred: experience with operational diagnostics, Gemba Walks, Kaizen workshops, and Lean transformation projects
- Preferred: knowledge of OKRs, KPI management, and the deployment of strategic goals
- Preferred: familiarity with Power BI
- Preferred: experience measuring operational and financial gains
- Preferred: knowledge of change management and the dissemination of a continuous improvement culture
