Key responsibilities & impact- Lead debt and structured credit transactions throughout the entire structuring cycle, from opportunity analysis and structure definition through issuance and settlement.
- Develop and review financial models, credit analyses, scenarios, and structuring alternatives.
- Assess structures based on cash flow, collateral, covenants, tenor, cost, and risks.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with originators, clients, investors, law firms, trustees, securitization companies, and internal teams.
- Monitor transaction timelines, documents, approvals, and closing conditions.
- Support the transition of transactions to the teams responsible for post-issuance management and monitoring.
- Identify opportunities, risks, and improvements in structures and processes.
- Contribute to the development of financial solutions and structures aligned with the characteristics and needs of each transaction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
- Solid experience structuring debt and credit transactions in the capital markets, preferably at securitization companies, investment banks, asset managers, or financial boutiques.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis.
- Experience with cash flow projections.
- Experience with scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Knowledge of debt service capacity, collateral, and covenants.
- Knowledge of subordination and waterfalls.
- Knowledge of return metrics.
- Knowledge of capital markets instruments, such as CRIs, CRAs, FIDCs, debentures, and commercial notes.
- Knowledge of the main stages of transaction structuring, issuance, and settlement.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Advanced English is preferred but not required.
- Experience with process automation or programming, especially VBA or Python, is preferred but not required.
- Experience with complex credit structures and various debt and capital markets instruments is preferred but not required.
