Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a senior technical escalation point, leading investigation and resolution of complex network incidents across global corporate, retail, distribution center, data center, and cloud environments
- Coordinate major incident response across operations, engineering, information security, business teams, and service providers
- Lead operational improvements across monitoring, alerting, problem management, documentation, lifecycle management, compliance, and change readiness
- Mentor Network Operations team members and provide day-to-day technical guidance
- Build internal capabilities to reduce dependency on external service providers
- Use operational data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to identify recurring issues, improve root-cause analysis, streamline manual processes, and advance proactive network operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 8 years of experience in network operations, enterprise network support, infrastructure operations, or a comparable technical role
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, network segmentation, and monitoring
- Experience leading complex troubleshooting, major incident response, high-priority escalations, problem management, and service improvement in a global enterprise environment
- Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to operations professionals and coordinating work across engineering teams, security teams, business stakeholders, and service providers
- Hands-on experience with network observability, operational analytics, or automation technologies
- Ability to use data and AI-enabled insights responsibly to improve network reliability and operational performance
