About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategically manage highly complex civil litigation, including plaintiff-side matters
- Draft and review pleadings and appeals to higher courts
- Define legal theories and evidentiary strategies
- Advise technical experts, prepare expert questions, and identify witnesses
- Attend hearings, make oral arguments, and confer with judges
- Manage judicial and extrajudicial enforcement proceedings, attachment and seizure measures, search-and-seizure actions, and repossession proceedings
- Conduct asset investigations and locate assets
- Develop strategies to pierce corporate structures and recover assets
- Handle judicial reorganization and bankruptcy proceedings, including claim filing and strategic monitoring of claims
- Lead high-impact negotiations and settlements
- Analyze risks and classify contingencies for provisioning and auditing purposes
- Provide technical supervision, review work, and develop mid-level and junior attorneys and interns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree and active, good-standing bar admission
- Experience in highly complex civil litigation
- Postgraduate specialization in Civil Procedure, Civil Law, or Business Law
- Experience with asset investigations, enforcement proceedings, negotiations, and asset recovery strategies
- Proficiency in legal management tools and asset research and investigation systems
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Strong negotiation and complex problem-solving skills
- Dynamic, pragmatic, and results-oriented profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate legal strategies into tangible results for clients
