About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for digital projects including strategy, websites, e-commerce, videos, systems, and products
- Define project scope of work, objectives, and deliverables with clients and internal teams
- Develop and manage daily tasks, detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Allocate and manage resources including producers, designers, developers, QA specialists, and external resources
- Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders
- Ensure projects meet high quality standards and client expectations
- Drive process optimization and adherence to project management best practices
- Manage client expectations, multiple demands, and competing priorities
- Serve as a point of escalation for client projects
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients
- Manage new business opportunities and establish project approaches and scopes for new engagements
- Mentor the production team and guide internal teams and clients through complex project lifecycles
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a creative agency setting
- Solid understanding of the project lifecycle, including Agile methodologies
- Experience managing digital projects, including websites, e-commerce, and system designs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, and ClickUp
- Ability to manage client expectations, multiple demands, and competing priorities
- Ability to own and execute projects from conception to completion, including scheduling, task assignment, progress tracking, and status reporting
- Experience organizing project schedules, including task lists, dependencies, milestones, and review meetings
- Experience managing project financials, including estimates, budget tracking, and revenue
- Ability to manage project resources within a matrix organization
- Skill in managing project risk and developing mitigation plans
- Ability to manage trade-offs between scope, quality, time, and cost
- Experience managing project scope, including statements of work, requirements documentation, change requests, and maintenance logs
- Deep digital experience, understanding of best practices, and project management methodologies
- Ability to work independently and drive every phase of the project lifecycle
- Natural leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members
- Comfortable overseeing large interactive projects with major sub-projects or programs of interrelated projects
- Bonus: Proficiency in Slack, ClickUp, Harvest/Forecast, Google Suite, and Smartsheets
