Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the contracting and supplier relationships for service providers across the Orizon Group
- Lead the full contracting cycle, from demand analysis and technical specifications through quotation, negotiation, approval, and contract execution
- Manage quotation, competitive bidding, and negotiation processes for heavy equipment rental services and waste transportation and treatment
- Analyze scopes of work, terms of reference, and technical-commercial proposals, including price structures, assumptions, adjustment indices, allowances, and contractual terms
- Identify risks, cost-reduction opportunities, and impacts on total cost
- Prepare bid comparison matrices and recommend suppliers
- Lead negotiations on prices, timelines, and commercial terms, including renewals and amendments
- Manage supplier approval and qualification, verifying legal documentation, environmental licenses, HSE requirements, and performance history
- Ensure legal compliance in waste transportation and treatment contracts
- Monitor supplier performance and propose action plans
- Support the execution of contracts, amendments, and renewals with Contract Management, Legal, and Compliance
- Monitor contract terms and service measurements to prevent service interruptions
- Act as a business partner to operational teams and address urgent situations
- Maintain records and histories of procurement processes in the ERP and management tools
- Prepare procurement reports and KPIs
- Propose and participate in process improvements, category strategies, and the standardization of specifications and contract templates
- Comply with the policies, procedures, and standards of the Integrated Management System
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Production, Environmental, or Mechanical), Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Environmental Management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain/Procurement, including experience contracting services
- Experience negotiating, analyzing technical-commercial proposals, and developing price structures
- Experience managing service contracts, including terms, service measurements, adjustments, and amendments
- Knowledge of quotation, competitive bidding, and supplier approval processes
- Advanced Excel
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Experience contracting heavy equipment rentals in construction, infrastructure, mining, sanitation, or similar operations is a plus
- Experience with waste transportation and disposal, including knowledge of environmental licensing, MTR, and certificates of final disposal, is a plus
- Knowledge of cost breakdowns, TCO, and adjustment indices is a plus
- Knowledge of legislation applicable to contracts, service taxation, and Brazil’s National Solid Waste Policy is a plus
- Power BI and intermediate English are a plus
- Availability for occasional travel to operational units and suppliers
- Training in Emergency Response Brigade, Internal Accident Prevention Commission (CIPA), and NR-33
