About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and update regular and promotional sales forecasts by category and SKU
- Adjust assumptions based on seasonality, product launches, and commercial initiatives
- Conduct sales analyses, consumer trend analyses, and market research
- Identify opportunities and risks that may impact demand
- Configure, parameterize, and maintain the demand planning system
- Ensure the quality and integrity of the data sources used for forecasting
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Strategy teams to align demand assumptions, promotions, and initiatives that impact the forecast and supply planning
- Prepare and present reports, performance indicators, and trend analyses to peers, managers, and directors
- Translate data into clear recommendations to support decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Previous experience with forecasting/demand planning, preferably in retail or store networks
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in demand planning systems
- Strong analytical reasoning skills
- Ability to interpret large volumes of data
- Ability to communicate results clearly to people at different organizational levels
