About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work under the direction of the Director of Business Development
- Cultivate referral relationships
- Manage assigned territory
- Complete patient assessments
- Make sales contacts
- Analyze referral and admission data from the assigned territory
- Collaborate with business development team members, including the Admissions Manager and admission staff
- Collaborate with nursing and other internal and external staff to facilitate referral conversion
- Provide feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives
- Support customer service, referral and admission processes, and patient and referral source satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred
- Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy is required
- Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the designated field of license
- Rehabilitation/LTACH and marketing experience preferred
