About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the CEO’s strategic and operational multiplier during a period of rapid growth
- Own the rhythm of business, including OKR reviews, ELT syncs, and board preparation
- Identify internal issues, market trends, and relevant data and metrics for planning and leadership meetings
- Track strategic bets and flag risks before they become critical issues
- Set agendas, drive discussions, and own notes and action items for CEO and leadership meetings
- Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve stalled decisions and dependencies
- Use AI tools for synthesis, drafting, modeling, dashboard creation, research, and decision preparation
- Run special projects such as market or partnership scouting, M&A support, organizational design, and employee engagement
- Own or co-own cross-functional initiatives from problem framing through delivery
- Prepare materials for all-hands, board meetings, and investor updates
- Translate dense or technical topics into executive-ready narratives and recommendations
- Serve as a trusted sounding board and occasional proxy voice for the CEO
- Work directly with the Founder & CEO and across the executive leadership team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or VC/PE firm
- An additional 3+ years of experience at a hyper-growth tech company
- Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day work
- Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and executive presence
- Highly organized and analytical, with a data-driven approach to decisions
- Entrepreneurial and energized by enabling rapid growth
- Savvy about how rapid-growth businesses run
- Experience building dashboards, models, spreadsheets, slides, and presentations
- Fluent with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar for research synthesis, drafting, data analysis, and decision preparation
- Comfortable evaluating AI tools and workflows
- Able to synthesize executive conversations into actionable plans and drive completion
- Able to translate complex or ambiguous topics into clear written objectives
- Strong business acumen and interest in growing toward leadership or general management
- Strict confidentiality, discretion, and careful judgment are required
- Flexibility outside standard hours, including evenings or weekends when needed
- Nice-to-have: prior Chief of Staff or strategic operations/business partner experience
- Nice-to-have: experience with OKRs
