About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Visit new and existing commercial and domestic customers
- Provide bird and rodent-proofing solutions, including bird netting, bird points, and rodent-proofing systems
- Clear bird fouling and rodent droppings when required
- Install pest control hardware, including external bait stations
- Use the Flexi Armour system to prevent pest ingress
- Support routine inspections and assist local technicians
- Manage job safety and follow risk assessments and method statements
- Ensure safe working practices, particularly when working at heights or in confined spaces
- As lead technician, oversee job progression from start to finish
- Order materials and access equipment
- Manage day-to-day operations independently when required
- Provide excellent customer service and identify pest problems
- Explore opportunities for new business and pass on sales leads
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
- May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role
