About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overall commercial responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle, from quotation submission and execution through after-sales service
- Active support in customer negotiations
- Key collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, and Legal, focusing on profitability, cash flow, tax, treasury, and customs
- Analysis of quotation calculations and assessment of project risks, opportunities, and commercial viability
- Early identification of commercial project risks and development of appropriate mitigation measures
- Preparation of regular project reports covering planned versus actual costs, forecasts, and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
- Close coordination with Technical Project Managers, Accounting, Contract Management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Administration or a related commercial field, such as Finance, Business Law, Controlling, Economics, or a comparable discipline
- Several years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Experience processing customer orders and preparing quotations
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work directly with customers
- Team-oriented approach and confident, negotiation-ready demeanor
