About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Further develop and manage the group-wide programs for Business Continuity Management (BCM), crisis management, and security risk management
- Develop and harmonize standards, policies, and governance structures while taking regulatory requirements into account
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses, risk and threat assessments, and derive suitable resilience and risk mitigation measures
- Develop and maintain business continuity, emergency response, and crisis management processes to ensure business continuity
- Plan and conduct crisis management team, emergency response, and BCM exercises; actively participate in crisis management teams and support the management of actual crises and incidents
- Establish situational awareness reports, early-warning mechanisms, and reporting structures for management and relevant stakeholders
- Advise national and international group companies and relevant business functions on all aspects of corporate resilience
- Design and deliver training, awareness, and sensitization measures, and support audits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in security, risk, crisis, or business management, or a comparable qualification combined with relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM), crisis management, security risk management, corporate security, or a comparable governance or resilience function
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements relating to BCM, risk management, and corporate resilience
- Experience implementing and further developing BCM, crisis management, or risk management processes, including Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a structured, pragmatic, and project-oriented approach to work
- High degree of initiative, strong execution skills, and a strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to confidently advise and persuade a range of stakeholders
- Resilience, decisiveness, and the ability to act confidently in crisis and emergency situations
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to undertake occasional national and international business travel
- Relevant further training or certifications in Business Continuity Management, crisis management, risk management, or corporate security are desirable
