About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build the framework for converting condition-monitoring and predictive-analytics data into maintenance actions
- Define how asset data is captured, integrated and analysed, and how intervention decisions are made
- Work with Digital, OT and data teams to connect sensor platforms, telemetry and Maximo
- Convert predictive alerts into planned work orders
- Feed intervention outcomes back into predictive models
- Demonstrate failures avoided, costs saved and service protected
- Report progress to senior leaders
- Define how engineers, reliability analysts and technicians adapt to new data
- Bring regional maintenance teams through the change
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading condition-based or predictive maintenance in water, utilities, process or another asset-intensive industry
- Strong grounding in reliability methods such as RCM, FMEA and RCA
- Practical knowledge of CBM techniques including vibration, ESA, thermography and oil analysis
- Experience turning data into maintenance decisions
- Understanding of SCADA, IIoT sensors, data platforms and CMMS
- Ability to lead change and explain technical insight clearly to engineers and executives
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- IEng or CEng, CMRP or vibration certification welcome
- Maximo experience is a bonus
